Hope is a non profit organisation of Hospital in Europe. The next meeting in Rome (June 2016) is indeed a meeting which is an example of closed social grouping. When you ask for a submission process of abstract on the topic of the meeting the secretary answered: "No. We organised the meeting by ourselves."
Sure they will not have any transfusion of fresh blood.
