Garmin failed to produce a reliable band for the Forerunner 405

The third strap in 7 years eventually ruptured as the former ones and grossly at the end of the same time, it is a shame for a company like Garmin! They are aware of this issue but they apparently didn't invest in R&D for a solution. Fortunately, I didn't lose my watch during my work out.

Perhaps a solution?

Just read the comments: Garmin actually failed to market a durable strap. And they don't take into account the consumer experience.
