Progress is not progressivism it is just the opposite.
Progressivist people do question the moral rectitude of others simply because they hold different opinions.
Now we are farther, progressivist people criminalise others simply because they hold different opinions.

"Recent studies have shown that, in contemporary populations, tall men have greater reproductive success than shorter men. This appears to be due to their greater ability to attract mates. To our knowledge, no comparable results have yet been reported for women. This study used data from Britain's National Child Development Study to examine the life histories of a nationally representative group of women. Height was weakly but significantly related to reproductive success. The relationship was U-shaped, with deficits at the extremes of height. This pattern was largely due to poor health among extremely tall and extremely short women. However, the maximum reproductive success was found below the mean height for women. Thus, selection appears to be sexually disruptive in this population, favouring tall men and short women. Over evolutionary time, such a situation tends to maintain sexual dimorphism. Men do not use stature as a positive mate-choice criterion as women do. It is argued that there is good evolutionary reason for this, because men are orientated towards cues of fertility, and female height, being positively related to age of sexual maturity, is not such a cue."

"One of the factors that contribute to height is the genetic factor.
There are two genes in men that contribute to height- one gene on chromosome 15 and one on the Y chromosome. These genes may also help explain why men are taller than women.
The Y chromosome is the male sex chromosome, absent in women. The gene on chromosome 15, called CYP19, codes for aromatase - an enzyme that converts testosterone into oestrogen in both sexes. Oestrogen influences height because it is responsible for bones fusing over at the ends, which stops people growing.
Aromatase seems to have its effect mainly on long bones, like those in the legs. Men and women generally have similar-sized bodies, but men tend to have longer legs."

The one type model of France bureaucracy
When you have one model you have one product
When you have one type of business school you only have one type of manager et caetera.
#ENA
#ENSP
France bureaucracy is politically backing "diversity" everywhere except in its own human resources. On the contrary France bureaucracy backs state centralised schools which have a monopoly on public positions in the administration, healthcare and other sectors where the state is predominant. In the state perimeter only state made bureaucrats are tolerated. Their are brain washed to public spending and immigration. They fight to expand the welfare state and progressive policies inspired by Gramscian ideology.
All the political parties are in keeping with these objectives and they only disagree on the name of the bureaucrats.

Diversity a new exclusive meaning in the progressivist world
James Damore is a fool. He didn't understand that we're in an era in which neologisms have replaced language and vocabulary has been hijacked to become Leftist code words. "Diversity" no longer has the neutral, objective meaning of "an array of different items or choices" (as in "a conference presenting diverse views on the causes of World War I"); it has been stripped of its connection to intellectual perspectives and opinions. Diversity now is code for a leftist policy to exclude males and/or white phenotypes from the lineup in academia, the arts and corporations. That is its only meaning. To work in tech and not know this is to be too clueless to live.

About wild yeast and terroir: the link is not a myth!
"Wild Yeast
Many Rías Baixas winemakers now favour fermenting their grapes with the native yeasts found in their vineyards. Though it can be challenging to make wine with wild yeasts, they believe the resulting aromas are a more authentic reflection of the characteristics of the Albariño grape and their terroir."

Abstract Article history: Received 4 July 2009 Received in revised form 16 February 2010 Accepted 13 March 2010 Keywords: Wine Yeasts Biodiversity Fermentation Secondary metabolites Combination of molecular genetic analysis (karyotyping, PCR-RFLP of MET2, the ITS1-ITS2 region and the NTS region) and physiological examination (melibiose and mannitol utilization, sugar-, ethanol- and copper tolerance, killer activity, fermentation vigor and production of metabolites) of yeasts isolated from spontaneously fermenting wines in four wine regions revealed very high diversity in the Saccharomyces cerevisiae populations. Practically each S. cerevisiae isolate showed a unique pattern of properties. Although the strains originating from the same wine were quite similar in certain traits, they showed diversity in other properties. These results indicate that alcoholic fermentation in grape wines is performed by highly diverse yeast consortia rather than by one or two dominating strains. The less frequent Saccharomyces uvarum strains were less diverse, showed lower karyotype variability, were Mel+, Man+, more sensitive to 60% sugar, and ethanol or copper in the medium. They produced less acetic acid and fermented better at 14 °C than most of the S. cerevisiae isolates, but certain S. cerevisiae strains showed comparably high fermentation rates at this temperature, indicating that it is not a general rule that S. uvarum ferments better than S. cerevisiae at low temperatures. The segregation of certain traits (melibiose utilization, mannitol utilization and copper resistance) in both species indicates that the genomes can easily change during vegetative propagation. The higher diversity among the S. cerevisiae isolates suggests that the S. cerevisiae genome may be more flexible than the S. uvarum genome and may allow more efficient adaptation to the continuously changing environment in the fermenting wine.

Marx's theory of labor
"Would be more accurate if it quoted chicken or pig. These are monogastrics or single stomach animals closer to humans. Through industrial processing we break down grains so that the sugar and other nutrients become usable because we have broken the protecting grain/oilseed hull. Otherwise they would pass straight through in nature in a fertile medium of poop. Nature's way of plant distribution and survival. Most grains etc are fed to fatten chicken and pigs, the so called healthy meats whereas red meat from ruminants is the healthiest, especially if grass fattened. Grain fattened increases to inflammatory essential fatty acids Omega 6's to up to 20 to 1 out of balance. Natural grass fat meats are roughly Omega 6:3 balanced less than 2 to 1 as per ancestral diets. This I suspect is the underlying or fundamental problem with modern plant, grain based, diets, not providing sufficient high quality anti-cancer, anti- inflammatory Omega 3's. These comprise much of the fats in human brains and eyes and lack of them are believed responsible for many of ills of humans, not least dementia's."

The new SMART score becomes wrong by using gender instead of biological sex

As the genomics of risk measurement is based on several genes including sexual chromosomes it is biological sex that should be considered and not gender affectation.

The roots of terror

The "forgotten" story of the links between communism and Nazism.
Orwell
PAD: association of NOCA and aspirin is efficient despite a higher risk of bleeding
COMPASS
COMPASS PAD: Among 7,470 participants with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), 4,129 had symptomatic PAD, 1,919 had carotid disease, and 1,422 had coronary artery disease plus ankle-brachial index <0 .9.="" br="">
Major adverse cardiac events (MACE): 5.1% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 6.0% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 6.9% for aspirin alone (p = 0.005 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.19 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)
Major adverse limb events: 6.3% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 7.6% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 9.0% for aspirin alone (p = 0.0003 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.08 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)
Major bleeding: 3.1% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 3.2% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 1.9% for aspirin alone (p = 0.009 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.004 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)0>
Study Design
Randomized
Parallel
Blinded
Patients with stable atherosclerosis were randomized to rivaroxaban 2.5 mg twice daily plus aspirin (n = 9,152) vs. rivaroxaban alone (n = 9,117) vs. aspirin alone (n = 9,126).
Total number of enrollees: 27,395
Duration of follow-up: mean 23 months
Mean patient age: 68 years
Percentage female: 23%
Percentage with diabetes: 38%
Inclusion criteria:
Atherosclerosis in ≥2 vascular beds or two additional risk factors (current smoking, diabetes, renal insufficiency, heart failure, or nonlacunar ischemic stroke ≥1 month)
Exclusion criteria:
High bleeding risk
Recent stroke or previous hemorrhagic or lacunar stroke
Severe heart failure
Advanced kidney disease
Use of dual antiplatelet therapy or anticoagulation
Limited prognosis
Principal Findings:
The primary outcome, incidence of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, or stroke, occurred in 4.1% of the rivaroxaban plus aspirin group vs. 4.9% of the rivaroxaban alone group vs. 5.4% of the aspirin alone group (p < 0.001 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.12 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone). The primary efficacy outcome was the same in all tested subgroups.
Secondary outcomes:
All-cause mortality: 3.4% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 4.0% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 4.1% for aspirin alone (p = 0.01 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.67 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)
Stroke: 0.9% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 1.3% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 1.6% for aspirin alone (p < 0.001 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone; p = 0.12 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)
Major bleeding: 3.1% for rivaroxaban plus aspirin, 2.8% for rivaroxaban alone, vs. 1.9% for aspirin alone (p < 0.001 for rivaroxaban plus aspirin vs. aspirin alone, p < 0.001 for rivaroxaban alone vs. aspirin alone)
