"We identified octogenarians and nonagenarians with superior
memory function compared to their age-matched cognitively
normal peers and found anatomic features associated with
SuperAging that deviated from those associated with normal
cognitive aging. The SuperAgers showed significantly
greater cortical thickness and volume than their cognitively
normal age-matched peers and showed no significant cortical
atrophy when compared to younger, cognitively intact individuals
20–30 years younger (50- to 65-year-olds). These
findings are remarkable given the numerous reports that grey
matter loss is a common, if not universal, part of normal
aging (Drachman, 2006; Fjell et al., 2006; Salat et al., 2004)."
I totally agree!

Barbary wars and slavery...
While Barbary corsairs naturally looted the cargo of ships they captured, their primary goal was to capture and enslave people on land or at sea. The slaves were often sold or put to work in various ways in North Africa.
Historian Robert C. Davis estimated that between 1530 and 1780 1–1.25 million Europeans were captured and taken as slaves to North Africa, principally Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli, but also Istanbul and Salé.[21]
Being captured was just the first part of a slave's nightmare journey. Many slaves died on the ships during the long voyage back to North Africa due to disease or lack of food and water. Those who survived the journey were made a spectacle of as they walked through town on their way to the slave auction. The slaves would then have to stand from eight in the morning until two in the afternoon while buyers passed by and viewed them. Next came the auction, where the townspeople would bid on the slaves they wanted to purchase and once that was over, the governor of Algiers (the Dey) had the chance to purchase any slave he wanted for the price they were sold at at the auction. During the auctions the slaves would be forced to run and jump around to show their strength and stamina. After purchase, these slaves would either become slaves for ransom, or they would be put to work. Slaves were used for a wide variety of jobs, from hard manual labor to housework (the job assigned to most women slaves). At night the slaves were put into prisons called 'bagnios' that were often hot and overcrowded. However, these bagnios began improving by the 18th century, and some bagnios had chapels, hospitals, shops, and bars run by slaves, though such amenities remained uncommon.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_Wars#Barbary_Wars

JamaicaMethylhexaneamine
Three months suspension (2009-09-14 - 2009-12-13)Facts regarding Methylhexaneamine:
Methylhexanamine (or Dimethylamylamine, DMAA) was added to the WADA prohibited list 2010 as a stimulant.
Methylhexaneamine, a component of geranium oil, is now the ingredient of a variety of supplements. It is chemically related to ephedrine and amphetamine.
In New Zeeland it is an active ingredient in 'party pills'. In addition it has been found in weight loss products.
Adverse effects of this drug include stroke, nausea and headache.
In the 1970 this stimulant was used as a nasal decongestant, but has not been medically used since. According to WADA the substance has now reappeared in a number of nutritional supplements and was therefore subject to potential inadvertent use by athletes. Because of this the drug was re-classified for 2011 from the 'non-specified' to 'specified' stimulant class, meaning that if the athlete can prove that they did not take the drug intentionally he or she may get a reduced sanction.
Several cases of methylhexanamine were found during the 2010 Commonwealth Gam

France = Liban = Syrie = Démolition?
